In this video, I take a look at how I did the plumbing on my 220 saltwater aquarium. This video covers everything you need to do it yourself and plumb your aquarium at home. I also share some tips and tricks with your DIY project that may be a big help in keeping your saltwater aquarium safe. When you set out to plumb an aquarium with a sump, the more planning you put into the project, the better it will turn out. This is not a very hard thing to do at all as long as your patient and take your time.
With the use of a DC return pump you can really simplify your aquarium plumbing project. The way I chose to plumb my 220 gallon reef aquarium was nothing fancy but it gets the job done.
